Different banks, cards, entities and months can be mixed in one batch. Duplicates are detected.
Statements are parsed and reconciled by the existing engine, stored encrypted, de-duplicated by content, and booked to the double-entry ledger only when they reconcile. An unrecognised account is never guessed — register it first, then import.
